Kai-Fu Lee es un empresario y escritor estadounidense nacido en Taiwán, considerado uno de los mayores expertos mundiales en inteligencia artificial. Graduado en Informática por la Universidad de Columbia, obtuvo su doctorado en la Universidad de Carnegie Mellon donde, como parte de su tesis, desarrolló el que es considerado el primer sistema de reconocimiento del habla independiente: Sphinx. Ha trabajado para algunas de las compañías más importantes del sector como Apple, SGI, Microsoft o Google, donde desarrolló su carrera como presidente de la filial de la empresa en China. En 2009 funda Sinovation Ventures, un fondo de capital de riesgo orientado al desarrollo de la próxima generación de compañías chinas de alta tecnología. Es autor de siete libros que se han convertido en bestsellers en China y tiene más de cincuenta millones de seguidores en las redes sociales.
