PETRA (INGLES)

Fat is beautiful!, her mother used to say,
but Petra didn’t like what she saw in the mirror.
She wanted to be tall, thin and elegant,
and would be able to move heaven and earth
to be physically different.
The elephant still has hope of finding a solution
to what she considers a problem, sets her out
on a trip of amusing adventures that will bring
about a very special meeting.

An optimistic vision in the sense of learning
that authenticity is the road to satisfaction,
and that others accept us as we are.
