My first Emily Henry book!! I was eye-ing this one specifically because friends to lovers is one of my favourite tropes, and what I discovered instead was the author’s insights and beautifully handcrafted writing. Overall, I enjoyed the novel, but was disappointed when the main plot point was revealed at the end. The anticipation was so big and overhyped during the entire story that it felt (in my opinion) a weak reason to cause such a rift in the friendship. I'm curious to re-read this one in the future and see if my review changes!
